Due to the nature of the research work many of the employees are partly or supplementary employed by the universities. The picture on the right shows the difference in the number of employees from 2004 to 2007 by showing the number of their hours of work at the Institute. <<BR>><<BR>>In the last 3 years the number of senior researchers has increased only by 3,1 %, while the number of young researchers has increased by 32,2 %. Also the number of expert and technical employees incerased by 16,0 %, many of them are young researchers pursuing their PhD or working at international projects or projects with the enterprise sector.
