IJSplus

The IJSplus project is an initiative to build a modern research center on Mencingerjeva Street. The Center for Light, Matter and Quantum (JSIplus) will enable Slovenia, with its exceptional scientific excellence in the high-tech fields of physics, chemistry and materials, to become a world leader in the application of quantum phenomena in medicine, electronics, energy and sustainable technologies. The project aims to create a physical space where research, industry and the general public can meet and jointly address new challenges that are emerging globally in medicine, electronics, energy and sustainable development. The vision of IJSplus is to place Slovenia among the leaders in Europe in the field of quantum technologies within ten years, to start a new era of cooperation between national organizations and initiatives, and to create new opportunities for Slovenia to become a leading country in research and innovation.
